  1. Here in Gotham, it is already Tuesday and the "Sampling Monday" post is not up yet; somewhere in this vast, wide world and the universes that compose it must still be Monday, right?
Multiversity is an excuse to put off things, and get to them later. Long live the multiverse!

This week's "Sampling Monday" features Estee Lauder's "Sumptuous Extreme" mascara in extreme black. I am always excited when I get cosmetics samples, and this mascara is no exception. The "Sumptuous Extreme" mascara creates outrageous volume, lifts and curves to give an audacious, false-lash effect to make eyes look wider, brighter and more seductive. The unique formula of this mascara acts almost like lash extensions, multiplying and growing the look of lashes while at the same time conditioning them. The mascara brush (that bears a slight resemblance to a cone to get to your lashes in the inner part of the eye) has two types of bristles, flexible fibers to carry maximum formula and solid fibers to comb and separate for clump-free definition, to fully vamp your lashes. I can't wait to see how extreme this mascara is!

  2. Change is good but I prefer it when it happens every once in a while. Like when my father, Ra's al Ghul recruited Batman's help to defeat Qayin, a rogue assassin who murdered my mother, Melisande; then everything was back to normal Ra's al Ghul and the League of Assassins hunting down the Bat.
So for this week's Sampling Monday, I will be sharing my thoughts on the three previous Sampling Mondays!
    Are you ready?

Molton Brown "Coco and sandalwood body wash" : After trying this body wash two times, I liked how the scent of sandalwood filled the bathroom but what made me happier was how soft my skin was after the shower. If you are not a fan of sandalwood scent, I would suggest another body wash because the sandalwood scent is strong.

Dior "Diorshow Iconic Overcurl mascara" : I had high hopes for this mascara and they did come true with one little mishap. It made my eyelashes look thicker and voluminous with that ultra curling effect, couldn't be happier about that! And now for the bad news: the mascara didn't stay on my lashes, it smudged and flaked under my eyes making me look like a masked vigilante when I least needed it.

Estée Lauder "Lip Conditioner" : Since one girl can't have enough lip balms, I am happy to announce that I found the one lip balm that could be the world's greatest balm aka the Batman of balms! I was so pleased to see that this colorless lip conditioner actually conditioned my lips and keep them as moisturized as it can get! Plus, when I used it as a base for my lipstick it even filled my lines and made the lipstick look way better.

P.S. What was you prediction about the samples? Did you try any of it or something different? And don't forget, have a great week!

  3. I have a confession to make. I am a superhero equipped not only with expertise in hand to hand combat and use weapons but also with anxieties and worries. I worry about Batman's and Robin's night patrols in Gotham searching for the Penguin's goon and I am anxious about Damian's upbringing and how we will protect him from what's out there.
I blame Mondays for making me feel more anxious than usual. You?

So, to lighten up the spirit I introduce you this Monday's sample! After reading a little bit about Estée Lauder's "Lip Conditioner" on the internet, I was impressed by the positive reviews and wanted to try it for myself. This lip conditioner is colorless, packed with Vitamin C and E, shea butter and other naturally derived moisturizers offering an intensive moisturizing treatment when used on its own or as base coat under your lipstick. We will find out how moisturizing this is!

Don't let the photo fool you!

I hope you have a better Monday than me and let's hope the bat signal does not go off for one night to help the worrying stay put for tonight! What are you sampling today? Come share with us!
